Album Top10 lists 1965 to 2022

These are my favourite albums for each year. My knowledge of pop music before 1965 is too limited while singles sales were still far more important than albums. And 1965 is the year when Dylan went electric, spurred on by The Beatles and The Stones. Since I'm always busy looking up the albums you really need to hear and music needs some time to grow on you, I keep a gap of one year.

These are my favourite albums from 1973 as selected for the Dutch magazine for recordcollectors 'Platenblad'. The early 70's weren't as dull, musically, as a lot of experts have stated. This list is pretty impressive, especially considering I had to leave off great albums by The Beach Boys, Jackson Browne, Andy Pratt, Stealers Wheel, Genesis, Roy Wood, Procol Harum, Rory Gallagher and others.
